IBS Data gathering

Had my first IBS data gathering call today and guess what happen in the morning, ironed my pants and guess what!! The freaking iron burned my pants. Imagine this you have a mock up meeting with your tutor(client) in two hours time and the damn iron burned your pants the moment it had contact with the pants. Ridiculous and damn pissed man!!! And to make things worse that was the only pair that i wore, but luck was on my side found a pair of old pants and managed to squeeze in.

The IBS Data gathering was a nightmare, my hand was shaking throughout the whole session. muhahah But as i mention before luck was on my side at least a bit, he gave me 22/30 for it. Thank goodness

ACER SUCKS in AFTER SALES SERVICES

Thinking about what happen one month back really piss me off. Yes it about the damn ACER people. Damn pissed with the kind of service they provide. So here’s how it go about. Called them to arrange for their technician to come down and repair my left click and touchpad. Okay fine the guy came down in the evening and told me that he will replace the faceplate for me (without saying anything about charging me for it)and then he proceed to dismantle my laptop, he unscrewed every single screw except for one which he apparently tried too hard!!! And guess what, he screwed that DAMN screw till the tread when missing.

Which goondo will keep screwing will he know that he can’t unscrew that damn thing? Then he told me that he need to bring it back to ACER to remove the screw. I can’t do anything but allow him to bring the laptop back to Acer fro three long days.

The next day the guy at Acer called citing that they will have to charge if I want to change the faceplate and there you go an argue, I felt that he tried to push the left click fault all to me all because of the bloody crack that was on my com and citing that it is how the user use the laptop and bla bla bla (mind you that happen 2 years back and the left click problem practically happen to 50% of travel mate 3002 user). Can’t remember what happen next asked him to call be back as I was having my driving test and that fellow was lucky I passed that damn test and didn’t want to argue with him and told him this “my main concern is not the left click but the touchpad, it is not sensitive and at time can’t even sense my touch” and then bla bla bla. He called back the week after telling me that there was no problem with my touchpad bla bla bla and fine I took it back cant be bother to waste more time on them. But then the point is this damn touch pad is still having problem as I am typing, it’s REALLY not sensitive GOD DAMN IT!!! And the worse thing was the buggers DID NOT CHANGE THE DAMN SCREW THAT HE SPOILED AND DID NOT TIGHTEN THE DAMN SCREW ON THE LAPTOP.

Moreover why make me go through all this crap YOUR DAMN TECHNICIAN SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE DAMN LAPTOP BEFORE TELLING ME THAT HE IS GOING TO CHANGE THE FACEPLATE AND NOW WHAT IS WASTED MY TIME DEALING WITH CLOWNS LIKE YOU AND IN THE END THE PROBLE IS NOT FIXED !!!! IS THERE NO STARDARD S.O.P AT ACER, WHY MAKE YOU CUSTOMER GO THROUGH THIS ENTIRE DAMN THING. YOU FOOL!!!

The story did not stop here man, called them up a few days back as I was having problem booting up from the system cd as I wanted to reformat the laptop and guess what happen. After waiting for 10 minute for some one to pick up, THAT GUY SOUND AS IF HE WAS SLEEPING AND TOOK SO LONG TO REPLY HE REALLY SOUND DAMN UNINTERESTED AND SLEEPY AND HE CANT EVEN HELP. WHAT HE TOLD ME WAS WHAT I CAN GET FROM A 3 YEARS OLD KIND “THEN IN THAT CASE YOU HAVE TO BRING DOWN TO OUR SERVICE CENTRE” WHICH IDIOT DUN NOE THAT!! And so I approach MEL for help AND THE DAMN THING IS ALL I HAVE TO DO IS PRESS ALT F10 ON BIOS TO REFORMAT!!!

Tomorrow going to be a stressful/ busy day. There is like so many things that are needed to be done 1.) Redoing of tags 2.)Check on STB house keeping in transit and arrival hall 3.) Plane view of 6 internet kiosk cluster 4) compilation of feedback 5) drawing up of questionnaire for BT. So many things so little time how am I suppose to schedule them all in one day, moreover the last two task has to be done with Terrence and Beatrice. Redoing of the tags will also take at least one morning without trimming. Haizzz, there’s bound to be take home assignment this week.

Earthquake, did u felt the tremor? I didn't as u know BT is built on flat land and it is only 1 story. DTM receive a call at 1200hr informing him about the earthquake and the thing is a flight was bounded to take off to Padang in an hour but what happen after I have no idea, hear that the power there was down … the best was the part that air cargo evacuated the whole building.

A sad sad case, finally realize the importance of spellings. Checking the spelling of your work is actually very very important, damn fucking important I would say. KNN was suppose to make new technical assistant tags for terminal 2 internet kiosk as the old ones were said to be warping. However I ended up redesigning the tags as I find that too blur, people also mention that it was ugly (BT staff) and some of the info are redundant, so what happen was I show my T2 supervisor a few new designs (I made them myself-muhahah) and he approved and select a design and also want it to be smaller so I did it lah. Who knows what happen on Friday night lah I spelled technical as techincal and I didn't even notice it. Went over to T2 to print it in color and cut out the tags at corporate affairs and went over to T1 to laminated it and back to BT to cut it. The process is long and tiring and I had already repeated it once today as it was not the first time that I did it was doing the old designed tag last week. The most ironical part was at least 4 other people at BT saw the tags and none of them notice the typo error till I send it over to Ignatius at T2. There he was saying it looks nice and stuff and then he goes "ah there is a SpELlInG Mistake, ah wasted". Although he didn't say anything about remaking them, but I will be doing them again since Kelvin wants me to make some for BT as well. Hmm it just the way I do thing lah, must do shui shui. Oh ad but I mention that I produced 80-90 pieces of these tags and mind u it is a 4 process lamination not the usual 3 which is much much easier.

Finally the long awaited attachment was posted to budget terminal under airport management. Hey but I'm still not so sure of my job scope lei, my make sure I clarify it with Cheryl my supervisor tomorrow or maybe the 2 intern from NTU. First day of work have been a breeze been walking around and reading files on budget terminal. Guess what is budget terminal tag line "enjoy the difference"; really different sia but how many people actually enjoy it? haha also learned that budget terminal was build because of tiger airways, the story goes like this. Government release new that they will build a budget terminal if any low cost carriers (LCC) are interested in flying it and so upon hearing, this news tiger airways penned to use the terminal. Thus budget terminal was born, therefore tiger airway cannot withdraw from budget terminal, if they do so they had to compensate. Bla bla bla k I got to go. As usual pics

The first day of CNY, those who know me knows that I only visit my grands (maternal) during CNY due to the fact that my dad is a Malaysian and stuff like that. Dad's 2nd sis came visiting before we head down to my grand's; it’s been quite some time since I last saw them. Had some small chat and stuff before we head down for my grand's. To go or not to go? The final decision, not to go now as the timing might not be right. It all started with a call from Sue Tan, she called yesterday night asking if I was interested to advance the oversea industrial attachment program. At the moment I was stunted at why she had call me but happy as it was an opportunity to work in china, a fast growing nation for at least the next 20-30 year if all else remain constant bla bla bla. Although I is not confirm as I will have to undergo another selection process before everything is confirm. Imagine the exposure and experience that can be gain in that 6 months, it's like a manual to the factory of the world, not a detailed one but a least an overview of how things are done in the Chinese environment. This sure looks good on the CV and may enhance my employability in the work force. Btw this was also on of the problem china face today, young worker with high degree without experience taking up high position in the company and replacing older experienced workers. Some are even not employable due to their non experience even though they may hold a degree. Why? Because china believe in “everyone should be treated equally” thus everyone should be able study in a university, therefore more are build every year. Thus their students are very theory base and this also affects the quality of education provided.

At the first I was quite happy and upon discussion with my parents and sis I decided to give it a try, however there was this little force pulling me back, for what reason I do not know. So what I planned was to print out the application form and fill it up first and then decide it again in school although my mind was set to hand in the application form. The guys in school was like discouraging me the whole day lah especially kook telling that if I go I will not be able to see this person that person bla bla bla. However upon deeper thought, I thought of something else the IBSM trip heard that it was compulsory for student taking IB module. Problem 1, 6mths OIAP + 2 mths ITP = no time for IB trip so how ???

I don’t know why even though ms koh always shoot (Kan) me during lecture and stuff, I still asked her about OIAP. Her advice really knocked some sense into my head. A potent advice that deterred me from taking the plunge. She told me not to rush through OIAP as most student who do OIAP are year 3 students and for me a year 2, I may have problem coping with them as they have learnt some of the stuff required of them. Thus I may not understand some concepts. Also she suggest that maybe I should do the ITP first and a semester of study first and if I really want to do the OIAP then go ahead as it’s not too late then. Some also mention some other stuff which was quite reasonable. Thus its ITP now; change airport.

Little did I know that it was held in a pub in pasir panjang think it's called bojungle. The ambience there was 'woohoo' nice, didn't expect to start the year off with such a party. The birthday boy invited hell lots of people and also the stpats boys from his class back then. However I only know a few of them lah, cause they are one year older mah. Common test, think I did quite badly for AAA didn't know how to do the last question on the equity statement as I dint bother to memorize the format of the statement, haizz. The multiple choice question was a killer too! What's worse was that she didn't inform us that time was running out, like last 5mins or something she just said stop writing bla bla bla. Thus I had no choice but to circle any answer on the script. Haizzz sure die …

OM also die used the wrong value for the forecasting question, therefore all the values and the MAD are wrong haizzz.

IEF general knowledge was a killer too they asked question like "where will the next APEC meeting be held", what is GSP, APEC, UNTAD, CAP, GATS, and MDGs... Damn it should have paid more attention on the piece of paper Eric passed to me before the test, it has at least 80% of the abbreviations lah. Haizz wrote down some abbreviation wrongly hopefully won’t get penalize for it.

EC was easier then expected completed the paper within the allocated time frame of one hour. Hopefully what I wrote on the paper was correct....

Sian common test just ended and here come the second wave of stress; PROJECTS!!!
This 2 week holiday is going to be a stressful one, at least that what I predict.

Attended the e-commence lecture today after studying at the airport with kok. The topic for the day was on security, didn't really focus on what miss Nelly chew was talking about until she mention "I have one student who was being attack by virus all the time and he think that the school network is doing something to his computer and he is so angry" hah that caught my attention CAUSE the student is me.

Hey look, I really think that there is some virus lurking around in the school network. Why do I say that? This is because the virus always hit me on a Monday during EC workshop when my zone Lab firewall is turned off in order for me to connect to W drive (school network). Luckily Norton always deletes those pests when they try to install themselves into the system, wonder what’s happening. A check on the norton's log shows that it backed up 407 copies of that virus meaning that it tried to attack me system for 407 times.

One more thing, I didn't went down to ask Nelly about the upcoming test (if you are wondering what I was doing down there for so long) I was there asking her about 3 things.
1. The email she sent about IS ranking

I felt like a loser, how in the world can I fail TP twice. This time round it was the slope, went in the wrong slope. Immediate failure again. My mind was completely blank when I was turning into the slope, dint realize that I turn into the wrong slope till the tester stepped on the breaks and when the other car was in front of me. Felt damn devastated at that point, my mind just went blank instantly. Dint know what i was thinking of at the spur moment. Dint really do the rest of the circuit properly. Strike kerb twice during the crank course and strike kerb for vertical parking. Did not finish the circuit as well tester just asked me to drive out of the school, which I did not perform well too. Can't really focus on driving after the immediate failure, dun even know what I was doing after that. Think should be able to do better if not for the immediate failure. Haizzz

True to what I have said before I have no idea why I always feel damn stress up on Tuesday night, think it's because of IEF day tomorrow. There's IEF lecture and tutorial every Wednesday thus the need to do the tutorial and prepare for lecture. I think it is a mental process, it just comes automatically. Must be the work of Schemas, some how the brain is telling me that all IEF teachers are scary and so I must be prepared for tutorial and lecture. Even had the thought of seeing the school counselor last week, think too stressed up at times. Somebody talk to meeee....

Time is really passing very fast this few weeks. It felt as if school just started a few days ago but it in fact it's already the third week. Haizz. 24hours a day is really not enough for me man! How I wish there is like 36 hours in a day.

The library used to be a very nice place to hang out till they hire this stupid auntie to petrol L2. Guess what she does man. She bring a round with her a laminated piece of paper asking student to keep quiet, to thin about it level 2 is the lifestyle library lei. Why is it that she is going around asking people to STFU even the poor dudes at the café were ask to keep quite? WTF are they trying to tell ask man, lifestyle = quiet, there’s no freedom of speech and we are suppose to keep the noise level at what 2 decibel. She is just so fark up and irritating worse then xiong mama , at least xiong mama will not be bothered to shut ask up unless it is really too noise. (See they are wasting our money again)

Had been a long time since I last worn out my leg, went to vivo city with Eric and Aldwin after school for lunch. Ate Carls Jr and Eric had his burger exchange when he found a STRAND of hair in it. Yap after he ate half of burger. I bet you know what happen after that if you have been to Carls. (1 ½ burger) when walking around the mall and the scenery there was nice, I mean the outside.

How real is the virtual world? Real enough that the IRS may want a piece of the digital action. Congressional economists are beginning to weigh the question of how to tax digital assets amassed in multiplayer online games such as World of Warcraft and Second Life, Reuters reports.

The timing couldn't be better for the Feds. Second Life, for example, has already grown its virtual economy to the equivalent of a $150 million gross domestic product. Its 800,000 or so "residents" exchange as much as $500,000 in real money daily.

With such a high volume of transactions taking place, efficient markets can't be far behind inside the world of Second Life. And World of Warcraft probably isn't far behind, if it is at all. (Warcraft distributor The9.com (Nasdaq: NCTY) has seen blowout earnings in recent quarters.)

What's more, the bandwagon appears to be growing. BusinessWeek reports that companies and institutions such as CNET (Nasdaq: CNET), Major League Baseball, Harvard University, and American Apparel are now doing business inside Second Life's virtual world.

And with $15 million in monthly transactions at stake in an economy that's growing 10% to 15% a month, hundreds if not thousands of businesses could join the fray soon. Perhaps that's why Reuters decided it was time to open its own digital bureau inside Second Life. Writer Adam Pasick -- code-named Adam Reuters in Second Life -- is the virtual bureau chief.

Seeing such well-known organizations commit real-world resources to the game might tempt the entrepreneur in you to try and become the Second Life equivalent of Donald Trump (without the bad hair, of course). But that won't be easy; BusinessWeek reports that Second Life "resident" and digital entrepreneur Anshe Chung already has amassed a portfolio of virtual real estate holdings worth at least $250,000. And many other early adopters have already jumped headfirst into the fray. Are you sure you want to join that arms race?

Frankly, you may do better researching how the march toward all things virtual could benefit your portfolio in the here and now. That shouldn't be too hard. After all, the more popular these games become, the more network capacity they need. And that simply screams for the goods we once called the "dot in dot-com": servers from Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW), databases from Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL), bandwidth from Akamai (Nasdaq: AKAM), software from Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), and so on. That's the stuff that will make virtual worlds real, and hopefully fatten your portfolio in the process.

Wah kao eh, took a peep out of the window trying to get a glimpse of the moon, but guess what I saw, no moon but lots of hazes. No PSI for the moment as they only report it from 7am -7pm, it was like 64 at 7pm but now maybe 80 or 90? Who knows? Okay lets talk about work, everyone seems to be asking the same question over and over again " what are u working as ". Okay, a little insight of what I’m doing. Currently working in this precision company dealing with the machining of consumer product e.g. the new iPod shuffle clip (the one at the back) and button, Mac Pro handle latch and iPod armband parts. After weeks of doing different jobs, they assign me to the job of REWORKING the iPod armband. Haizz that mean sitting in front of the buffering machine removing dent and machining line from the metal parts and also to ensure that the length of the item is not less then 1.47mm or 30micron (that what they call it). And thanks to Xiao zhu and Vivian I’m being call 小胖, 肥仔 or 胖仔. Damn it! I’m really fat.... basically work is rather okay just that it is too early 0830 start work till 1730 and got OT also. Its Sunday, Sunday=R&R day ha-ha.

What the fuck are the people at UOB doing???

Been busy for the last 1 week and its’ going to continue for the next 2 weeks. So what am I up to u might ask? WORK lah THEN!!!

Felt damn pissed today, called up the UOB reward plus department today just to get a solution from them to cancel a reward voucher I redeemed on the 5th of July. This is what happens

• 5th July redeemed voucher via phone redemption

• Waited for 3 weeks nothing received

• Called up UOB reward plus department about it, they told me that then will resend the voucher, fine, I waited (they also deduced $110 without me knowing about it!!!)

• 3 week passed, called again

• They told me they will check the statues of the voucher and resend it again.

• 1 week later, THEY CALLED to confirm my address

• 2 weeks later nothing received yet!!!!

• Called them again

• The guy suggested that he cancel the voucher due to security reason incase the voucher was lost in the mail.

So after 8 bloody week of waiting I ended up with nothing at all and full of rubbish from that bank and also incurred opportunity cost and wasted efforts to call them and chase them for the voucher. What the hell are those people doing, are they FUCKING sleeping on their job or what? It’s just a simple thing and they can’t do it properly. I can’t say that they are really that bad, coz this might be a rare case, who knows?? But can I say the breached the contract between the bank and I. Definitely, why coz there is a contract between the bank and I when they deducted my UNI points and $110 from my bank account. Therefore there is consideration for both parties and I had already executed my duties. Therefore I can say that if I wish to pursue the matter it won’t just stop here. Perhaps I can make them pay for damage (the difference between the price of the product offer by UOB and the market price). They just made me so pissed and don’t even wish to spent any more efforts wasting my time away arguing and pursuing the matter, just MAKE SURE U DEBIT BACK THE MONEY OR U’R GONNA GET IT.

It’s terribly hard to accept that I failed my driving test. I was rather confident that I will pass the test on the first attempt but the fact proven wise. What happen was I did an immediate failure during the directional change; it was like the second course the tester asked me to do lah. Everything was going well till I was turning out from the course( Dir change) and the second wheel mounted onto the curb, it happen damn quickly even though I was driving out at a damn slow speed using the connecting and disconnecting clutch technique. What I guess what it mounted slightly on the curb, that’s why when it touches the curb it when up and down instantly. Haizz could have passed the test if not for this stupid mistake that cost me dearly. Only accumulated a total of 18 points throughout the whole test (finished the whole route). *sign* then after going to the immigration building to extend the stupid passport I some how wandered to raffle city. Surprisingly Angela was working that day. It feels really good when u have someone to like talk to when u are down, even for a while seriously! Over at grand’s those ****** was laughing at me when the found out that I had failed the test arg idiots.

Call it yellow ginger, haldi, turmeric or E100, the yellow root of Curcuma longa, a staple ingredient in curry, is turning out to be gratifyingly healthy. Now Tze-Pin Ng and colleagues at the National University of Singapore have discovered that curry eating seems to boost brain power in elderly people.

Curcumin, a constituent of turmeric, is an antioxidant, and reports have suggested that it inhibits the build-up of amyloid plaques in people with Alzheimer's. Ng's team looked at the curry-eating habits of 1010 Asian people unaffected by Alzheimer's and aged between 60 and 93, and compared their performance in a standard test of cognitive function, the Mini Mental State Examination. Those people who consumed curry "occasionally" (once or more in 6 months but less than once a month) and "often" (more than once a month) had better MMSE results than those who only ate curry "never or rarely" (American Journal of Epidemiology, DOI: 10.1093/aje/kwj267).

"What is remarkable is that apparently one needs only to consume curry once in a while for the better cognitive performance to be evidenced," says Ng, who says he wants to confirm the results, possibly in a controlled clinical trial comparing curcumin and a placebo.

Finally the fat guy decided to do something about the slab of fats in front, so I went jogging in the morning. Woke up at 7 in the morning and set out for east coast at 9. It must be the doing of fate that I met Marcus again after a year, to be more specific I think the lat time I saw him was like last year teacher’s day at SPS. He was cycling alone when I spotted him, call out for him then he was like slowing down because me as I was walking and jogging, a mix of it lah. Traveled a distance with him towards the end of ECP before hitting back home. Luckily I met him, else I think I will be walking the whole stretch of ECP instead of walking. Chatted with him throughout the journey about schools and st pats of course, those were the time where school works were no worries to us haizz miss the good old days.

Then went for driving in the afternoon, make a lot of stupid mistake, hit pole, wrong gear and can’t rememble lah don’t wish to elaborate.

On the way back home saw a new drink at 7-11 haha “pepsi tarik”

Aug. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Hong Kong Billionaire Li Ka-shing, 78, said today he has no plans to retire and that he will eventually give at least a third of his wealth to his charity foundation.

Speaking at an earnings press conference for his two largest companies, which make up almost 9 percent of Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index, Li also said the 26-year-old Li Ka- shing Foundation has disbursed or committed almost HK$8 billion ($1 billion), about 90 percent of that in Hong Kong and China.

"This may spur more philanthropy in Asia,'' said Michael Troth, Asia Pacific and Middle East head of global wealth structuring at Citigroup Inc.'s private bank. ``An increasing number of our clients are interested in making a positive difference with their wealth and a lot of people look at what Li does when planning their affairs,'' he said. Citigroup does not disclose its private banking clients.

Li, who Fortune magazine says is the world's 10th richest person worth $18.8 billion, joins fellow billionaires including Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in pledging to give away a substantial portion of their wealth. Buffett in June pledged $30.7 billion, over many years, to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the largest charitable commitment in history, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy.

Like Buffet, called the ``Sage of Omaha,'' Li, sometimes called ``Superman'' by the Chinese-language press, has built the reputation of being a canny investor. Li became a tycoon by buying Hong Kong real estate in 1967 when riots tied to China's Cultural Revolution caused land prices to collapse.

Plastic Flowers

After arriving in Hong Kong as a refugee from China at age 13, Li swept factory floors to survive during the Japanese occupation of the city in 1942-45. After the war, he opened a plastic flower factory and then began buying real estate.

Among his other successes was a $30 million investment in 1988 with Procter & Gamble Co. to sell shampoo and toothpaste in China. He sold his stake in the venture for $2 billion in 2004. In 1999, he made a $15 billion gain selling his Orange mobile- phone unit in the U.K. to Germany's Mannesmann AG.

Hutchison Whampoa Ltd., his largest company, this half booked a HK$24.4 billion gain from the sale of 20 percent of its port unit, the world's biggest, to Singapore's PSA International Pte, the second-largest operator.

Li said he wouldn't follow Buffet's lead by injecting shares from Hutchison and Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd., his real estate developer, into the foundation, as this would affect the business; instead he may donate ``non-core'' assets.

Today, shares in property developer Cheung Kong, 37 percent owned by Li, and its unit Hutchison, which has investments form cellular phones to oil, fell after the companies reported first- half earnings.

Hutchison, Li's biggest company, said first-half profit doubled to HK$18.8 billion on the port stake sale and said its European wireless networks would turn to profit later than it had previously expected.

Cheung Kong, his builder, said operating profit fell 31 percent to HK$3.3 billion on lower home sales.

Li said today he remains optimistic about China's economic development prospects and the outlook for Hong Kong's property market. He described China's recent attempts to curb economic growth as ``reasonable.''

The Li Ka-shing Foundation, established in 1980, has made grants, sponsorships and other commitments to educational, medical and health-care causes, according to its Web site.

Still of Sound Mind

Li also established a university in Shantou, China. Last year, he sold his 4.9 percent stake in the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, of which he had been the largest shareholder, donating the C$1.2 billion ($1.08 billion) in proceeds to a new Toronto-based charity supporting education, medical care, poverty relief and cultural and religious endeavors.

``No family members or directors can get even 10 cents from the foundation,'' Li said. ``It holds of cash and stocks, and I will continue to inject assets into it. If my mind becomes a bit impaired I will not retire, instead I will work for the foundation full time.'' Li said he's still of sound mind.

Li, has never announced any concrete retirement plans. His elder son, Victor, 41, is his heir apparent, acting as deputy chairman of Hutchison and managing director of Cheung Kong.

Finally everything is over!!! But things do look as good as they seem, FMGT confirm die wan 43 marks of blanks, BLAW and HRM should be able to pass and CMA die also. The bloody last 2 Q for CMA today was killer man! Dunno the flexible budgeting they talking about 12 cars or 10 cars then the relevant costing Q was so confusing lah don’t know how to do sia…

FMGT was worse 43 marks of blank, left out the whole Q on time value of money. The most fark up thing was that I actually know how to do Q2 of time value just that I was not so sure if it was the correct answer and wrote did the draft on the question paper itself and never write anything on the exam script. Theory was also another killer, left out most of the theory of the FMGT paper, skipped some Q and got no time to go back and do total lost a minimal of 43marks.
BLAW was quite manageable, able to do most of the question except for the copy right stuff can’t remember much about it and the undisclosed principle and rest was quite okay just that I didn’t elaborate much lah…

HRM was also quite okay but my brain was unable to retain much information and thus didn’t elaborate much on some question. The most idiotic thing the did was to ask us to describe any 5 assumption of socialization but the point is we learn 5 assumption eh, then I thought it was to describe 1 assumption out of the 5, luckily asked the teacher about it else 15 marks gone.

A nursing student was in need of urgent medical attantion .when he got badly injured Jumping off the railing at block 81. He miraculously healed in days. Rudy Irwan Bin Ramli, 17, a first-year Health Sciences (Nursing) (HSN) student,jumped over the guard railing at the third level while attempting to do a stunt. He was trying to land on the other side on the same level, but missed and fell through the fibre glass canopy, landing on the stair landing almost two floorsdown. "I told him not to do anything foolish," said Rudy's good friend, Theinesh S/O Packirisamy, 19, also from HSN. Theinesh was present when Rudy made the jump. According to Theinesh, Rudy went into'a fit and was trembling badly immediately upon landing. He was also bleeding severely from his nose, mouth and head, and his-kft eye was bruised and "as swollen as a tennis ball". Rudy was in such a terrible state that' Theinesh."thought he had lost a friend"; Rudy was unconscious and was heavily sedated for two days. HSN lecturer, Ms Sid Muslehat,' who attended to Rudy after he fell, said he had a blood swelling in his brain but that he "did not sustain any other physical injury and has no visual impairment". Ms Siti described Rudy as -an extremely cheerful and friendly student who "has a heart for nursing". Was so tried during FMGT tutorial that I doze off half way through the lesson and it was so embarrassing for the tutor to wake me up lah, but lucky she is not the kind of stern tutor. After school was damn fun filled, play the fishing game in the plaza and caught like 10 guppies using the paper net. Then when to Hilton to collect the cheese cake with Chester and Lester and off we go to PS. Waited like half an hour for everyone to get there, then celebrated Edwina’s birthday at rocky master thou with a minimal purchase lah then rushed off to catch “The Click”. Settled our dinners at McKenzie after the movie, then ….. Then what!!! GO HOME LAH

Ha ha, skipped tutorial again yesterday. Gave myself the permission to take family care leave. Slept for only 2 hours last night and had to wake up at 8 in the morning to get ready for the day. Had to be at the bride’s place at around 10plus and the schedule was rather packed. Zooming around in the car the whole day for hougang to AMK, AMK to ponggol(lost), ponggol to hougang, hougang to bedok, bedok to yishun…. the dinner started at around 9 was rather late due to those stupid Singaporean who do not know what is punctuality. Damn freaking tired after the whole thing , went home and slept right away.

As expected I screwed up the bloody CMA test today. Gotten the whole of the last two question wrong, wrong format, wrong method, and wrong this and that. Whatever, what is done is done. Haven been in the mood to study for the test, started studying only at 10pm lat night and had to skip Fmgt tutorial today just to stay at home to prepare for the cma test. Heard from kok and the rest that Grace Liang was rather unhappy today due to the absences of erm I dnno how many pple. Jia lat lah really no mood to study for ECD test also.

And guess wad tml is jasper’s big day. Suppose to meet Chester to get our stuff for his wedding tonight but end up rushing to parkway by the cab all because of that stupid 196 don’t know how long it will take to travel to PP. got so pissed off with the bus I that I alighted from the bus and took the cab. Luckily still manage to get there in time before the store closes.

Started off the day with a nice taxi ride through CBD and Singapore poly then to school, imagine the nice view and scenery of the outskirt of the CBD early in the morning that was like so wow. But off cause I wasn’t the one who paid for the taxi fare, shared the taxi with my sis as we left the house together. When to school at 9PM to do cip project ….. blah blah blah …. Then cats class blah blah …… hehe after that when to taka to meet my cousins, when down with then to the basement to get a cake from RIVE choosed the most chocolaty cake then when for dinner at tonkichi (the stupid Jap restaurant which served food all fried) but the food was quite nice. Then Jaime and Joe Ann dropped by to pass me my present. So sweet rite (swear I wasn’t lying) ha-ha. Yap also must thanx the guys who chipped in for it. Thereafter when to my secret garden at brasbasa, had a drink talk c%^*k and at last went home. Haizz dun really wish to elaborate lah!! Shall end it here.

In the recent months the service sectors in Singapore have been the hot topic of the town, ever since pm lee touch on the topic of improving the service quality in Singapore.
Service quality have since been emphases by many employers. Indeed in a way our service quality can be/ have increased, however I would like to question if the good service that you are receiving really comes from the heart of the service people or are they just “plastic”(artificial/ not genuine). Are the service people smiling in front of you while they are gossiping behind your back with their fellow co-workers.

Argg I think I need a break. This is going to be a very hectic week every since school reopen this semester. Every thing seems to be thrown at a fast pace, tutorials, projects, and lectures. I’m so confuse with bstat all sort for funny symbol and stuff seem to be appearing e.g. Dispersion Variance and Standard Deviation (what is all this shit!!). Even micro is getting me confused haizzz think is my own fault that I can’t understand them, can’t seem to be focus in anything that I do. Projects datelines are also nearing and we haven seem to be started proper on any of them .jia lat lah!!

Hey look, I think as a NGEE Ann student we are too overly dependent on Mel (or perhaps just me) Is that good or bad?? Kay lets analyze this as a ngee ann student we use Mel for every thing downloading or notes, announcement, updates on projects date line and NP email. So what do you think will happen to the poor students of ngee ann if the system is down for maintenance? the ANSWER, poor student are going to be do F#@* helpless not knowing what is when is the bloody submission date for certain project (OCOM) and not knowing what is happening to certain tutorial lesson. What the hell is this even email also cannot use the whole bloody is down leaving us so helpless. Kao wei at least try to get it up and running by Sunday lah, like that how sia **$@@!$#%.

Haizzz. Went to work at toysrus again, another day of afternoon shift again. Shall make it short today. quite happy working today crapping with Melissa and the exit staff....
after Wednesday Nets shortage I was extremely carefully with the money and transaction, however till the end of the day I still had a shortage of $10 (argggg). Damn sad lah, so careful still got shortage, what is this man!!!
People work get richer I work and get poorer, since day 1 till now I have lost ($8.70+$55.80+$10) $74.50. ARGGG I am BROKE. Anyone wiling to make some donation??? Okay I shall end here.

haizz as usual when to work today and found out that I left my cell phone at home, I was like "what am I suppose to do I am suppose to call josh at 11am to wake him up and now I got no phone, no phonebook no contact." after panicking for a while I decided to go to the office and see what I can do. In the end I tried calling Kelvin and Ming to get josh number, however one did not have his number while the other one is not picking up therefore I gave up and did not bother….

cashiering was quite okay today till the end of the day when the it was my turn to count down. This is damn sad lah, every thing tally e.g. cash, credit card expect for NETS. There was a missing receipt of $55.80, the manager (victor) checked the audit roll and found out the time of the transaction and view the video of that time. It was said that I might have given the customer a previous Nets receipt and that the current transaction was not completed. However they manage to trace down the customer detail as she was a member. They called her but I was diverted to the voicemail, thus we could only wait for the customer to call back and hopefully come down to make her payment, else my pay will be CUT. Damn sad lah, screwed so many things today. ………

hehe currently working in toysrus, quite a fun to work in. however i drag going to work every morning. i was so surprise that they put me on duty as a cashier, was like trained for half a day last week and now they are putting me alone as cashier!!. i was like panicning when i started the counter screwed up alot of things at the beingging and that stupid credit card machine also find fualt with me by breaking down alot. my counter closed at 2245 hr, which shop in singapore close at that time ?? all thanks to the 1 and only customer which took her time testing and stuff..... . hehe checked the rooster, tomorrow will by my off day haizzz be still got a lot of things to settle.haizzz............
