What the fuck are the people at UOB doing???
Been busy for the last 1 week and its’ going to continue for the next 2 weeks. So what am I up to u might ask? WORK lah THEN!!!
Felt damn pissed today, called up the UOB reward plus department today just to get a solution from them to cancel a reward voucher I redeemed on the 5th of July. This is what happens
• 5th July redeemed voucher via phone redemption
• Waited for 3 weeks nothing received
• Called up UOB reward plus department about it, they told me that then will resend the voucher, fine, I waited (they also deduced $110 without me knowing about it!!!)
• 3 week passed, called again
• They told me they will check the statues of the voucher and resend it again.
• 1 week later, THEY CALLED to confirm my address
• 2 weeks later nothing received yet!!!!
• Called them again
• The guy suggested that he cancel the voucher due to security reason incase the voucher was lost in the mail.
So after 8 bloody week of waiting I ended up with nothing at all and full of rubbish from that bank and also incurred opportunity cost and wasted efforts to call them and chase them for the voucher. What the hell are those people doing, are they FUCKING sleeping on their job or what? It’s just a simple thing and they can’t do it properly. I can’t say that they are really that bad, coz this might be a rare case, who knows?? But can I say the breached the contract between the bank and I. Definitely, why coz there is a contract between the bank and I when they deducted my UNI points and $110 from my bank account. Therefore there is consideration for both parties and I had already executed my duties. Therefore I can say that if I wish to pursue the matter it won’t just stop here. Perhaps I can make them pay for damage (the difference between the price of the product offer by UOB and the market price). They just made me so pissed and don’t even wish to spent any more efforts wasting my time away arguing and pursuing the matter, just MAKE SURE U DEBIT BACK THE MONEY OR U’R GONNA GET IT. Seriously i mean it !!!
